What You Need to Upgrade to the Corporate Edition |

1.QuoteWerks installed (fresh or upgraded copy)
2.QuoteWerks Corporate Edition License Key(s)
3.Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE) 7.0 or 2000 or SQL Server 2005, 2008 R2, or 2012 Express installed
4.Applicable security/access rights to your MS SQL Server and network

Corporate Edition (Fresh Install)
To install QuoteWerks in a new folder, simply run the installation program following the Standard/Professional Edition installation procedures. Then, start QuoteWerks and enter the QuoteWerks Corporate Edition License Key provided to you to activate the Corporate Edition. Next, see Re-hosting to SQL.
Corporate Edition (Upgrade Install from 3.0)
If you’re upgrading an existing QuoteWerks 3.0 installation and want to upgrade it to QuoteWerks 5.2 Corporate Edition, you’ll first need to read the Standard and Professional Edition Upgrade Installation Notes to upgrade the Access backend from version 3.0 to 5.2.
Important: If you’re still using the Access backend, you’ll want to run the Medic Utility monthly or more frequently (depending the amount of data in your database) to compact the database to keep it in tip-top shape. |
Then, start QuoteWerks 5.2 and select the Utilities -> License Manager menu. There, remove all the version 3.0 License Keys, then enter your newly issued QuoteWerks 5.2 Corporate Edition License Key(s) to activate the Corporate Edition. Next, see Re-hosting to SQL.
Corporate Edition (Upgrade Install from 4.0)
If you’re upgrading an existing QuoteWerks 4.0 installation and want to upgrade it to QuoteWerks 5.2 Corporate Edition, there are no special License Key steps required.
