Issue:
How do I make an item optional on my quote?

Solution:
This can be accomplished setting the item attributes to optional on the line items that you want to be optional.
To set an item as option, just right-click on the line on the Quote Work Book and select "Edit Line Attributes". You will then set the Option Property to "Yes"
