Question:
How do I set a price increase on all products in our QuoteWerks database? Solution: There are 3 options you can use: Option 1: Re-import the products and update with the latest product prices Option 2 (This is an advanced option.): The QuoteWerks Medic Utility has a SQL query feature that allows you to write and execute SQL commands/queries on specific QuoteWerks databases. To access this feature, launch the Medic Utility and select the Utilities->Data Manager For QuoteWerks Databases menu. (You will need to make sure everyone is out of QuoteWerks.) You will note 3 tabs: - Pre-defined System Database Queries - Pre-defined Product Database Queries - Advanced Queries You can use the Advanced Queries to write your own and execute SQL commands/queries. You can use the Pre-defined Product Database Queries to apply a global price modifier, such as a markup that will affect all products. Option 3(This is an advanced option.): Open the product source and make the changes from within the database. (Be sure to make a backup) |
