Issue: I have a Tablet PC that I use in the field. Since I don't have a printer, I would like to be able to preview the quote to my customer and have him/her sign the quote digitally. How can I accomplish this? Solution: At this time, QuoteWerks does not have a built-in function to allow for a digital signature to be saved while in the "print preview" window. Documents viewed in the Print Preview window are read-only and cannot be modified. You can use the following workaround method: - Save the quote as a PDF document using the "Save As" button from the Print Preview window. - After the quote has been saved, you can open up the PDF and have the user sign it and then save the changes. Note: To edit the PDF you will need the full version of Adobe Acrobat. |
