Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?
Version 24.0 Build 4
Issue:
While compacting a database, the following error is returned:

Error in LowLevelCompactMDB creating JRO object:
Error (429) ActiveX Component can't create object.

OR

ERROR: ActiveX Component can't create object
Check that you have sufficient rights to the directory...

NOTE: This error can also occur when linking to the SYNNEX database.

Cause:
The msjro.dll file is not registered properly.

Solution:
A. Make sure MDAC is installed properly.

B. Try manually registering the file

1. Go to the Start Menu
2. Select Run
3. Type REGSVR32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ado\msjro.dll"
(You may need to replace the path with the appropriate location)
4. Press OK
5. Reboot your workstation
