Issue:
I just converted a quote to an order, now my quote is gone. I need to keep record of the quote. What should I do? Cause: When converting a Quote to an Order or a Quote/Order to an Invoice, if you do not have the appropriate settings on the Installation Tab of the ToolsOptions menu set, you may lose converted documents. Solution: Users with master rights can go to the Installation Tab of the ToolsOptions menu. Under the converting documents section, make sure the 2 Preserve documents when converting checkboxes are checked. You will also want to check either the Documents user different number sequences or the Keep the same numeric sequence option. This will keep document number confusion to a minimum. |
