Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?
Version 24.0 Build 4
Issue:
When Linking to an Excel file for Products, and the Print Picture is mapped to a column that contains 'Y' and PictureFileName is mapped to 'DVD.BMP' and 'DVD.BMP' is located in the images folder of the QuoteWerks directory, the following messages are received and then the preview occurs without the picture:

-Message 1-
dcFindProduct
Data type mismatch in criteria expresion.

-Message 2 (This message will differ slightly depending on your Excel File)-
QuoteWerks
Error in FindProductRecord
Error (-2147217913) Automation error
SQL=SELECT * FROM [Sheet1$] WHERE F2='101'

Cause:
The field in Excel that holds the Manufacturer Part Number is a Numeric Field. This field should be text.

Solution:
To resolve this issue, make sure that the column in Excel that holds the Manufacturer Part Number is a Text Field.
