Issue:
When adding a product from a linked QuickBooks product database the following error appears: The Field Name " specified in the ReturnDocumentItemsFieldArrayIndex() function was not found. The item will still be added to the quote, but field information will be missing. Cause: The Item Name field in the QuickBooks Link Setup was not mapped to a specific QuoteWerks field. This is a separate mapping than the one which takes place when initially setting up the link to the QuickBooks product database. Solution: First you will want to have both QuickBooks and QuoteWerks open. Next, in QuoteWerks you will click Tools > Export to QuickBooks. On this window you will select the Mappings tab at the top. The first available mapping is for the "Item Name" field from QuickBooks, you will want to map this field to the appropriate QuoteWerks field. Generally, this will be mapped to either VendorPartNumber or ManufacturerPartNumber, but can be mapped to a CustomText field if applicable to your installation. Additionally, QuoteWerks 4.0 Build 12 will now display a more descriptive error if this field has not been mapped. |
