Are you using the most current release of QuoteWerks?
Version 24.0 Build 4
Issue:

Apart from manually modifying each item in your database, making global changes to your databases can be done in 2 ways:

Note: Both of these methods require knowledge of SQL commands and/or Microsoft Access. QuoteWerks Technical Support does not provide support beyond providing the basic information required to perform these tasks. Modifying databases incorrectly can result in data corruption or errors. Please be sure to back up your databases prior to modifying them.

MAKE SURE NO ONE IS IN QUOTEWERKS WHEN PERFORMING EITHER OF THESE OPERATIONS!

Solution:

Method 1: (Requires Microsoft Access- NOTE: DO NOT convert the database if prompted!!!)

1. Double-Click on a product database in the QuoteWerks Directory (folder) that you wish to modify.

2. Select the product table

3. Now you can apply commands using Microsoft Access to replace the values in the fields you need to modify. If prompted, do NOT convert the database to another version of Access!!

Method 2:

1. Click on Start->All Programs->QuoteWerks ->Tools and Information->and select the Medic Utility.

2. In the Medic Utility, please select UtilitiesData Manager For QuoteWerks Databases

3. After logging into the Data Manager, click on the Advanced Queries Tab and select the corresponding product database and apply the necessary SQL commands
