Issue:
I live in Canada and my PST and GST Taxes are not Printing. I instead have a single combined tax. Solution: First, make sure that you have enabled the Canadian Tax Scheme on the Regional Tab of the Tools-Options Menu. You will then be able to edit your layout(s) by pressing the Print Button on the toolbar, selecting your layout, and clicking on the Edit Button. You will see a total tax field in the report footer 1 of the layout. Delete This field. Now, press the Field Button on the Toolbar and select the Document Header Table. Select the LocalTax field and place this where the Total Tax had been. This is your PST Tax. Double click on this field and make sure the summarization type is set to Value and not Total. You may also want to change the label to reflect that this is the PST Tax. Your last step will be to press the Field Button on the Toolbar and select the Document Header Table. Select the GSTTax field and place this where you would like the GST Tax to appear. You may need to move some fields around. Double click on this field and make sure the summarization type is set to Value and not Total. You may also want to add a label to reflect that this is the GST Tax. |
