Issue:
You encounter date Issues while rehosting to or saving in the Corporoate Edition of QuoteWerks 4.0 such as: "The date format for the login id, Database, and Microsoft SQL Server supplied for rehost dmy is not supported. Only the format of mdy is supported. " Please see the screenshot. Cause: An incompatible date format other than mm/dd/yyyy (month-month/day-day) was passed to the SQL database. Solution: When SQL Server is installed you can choose the default language to use for all databases and the language selection determines the date format. If you are in a country where you do not use the USA date format, then you can still use QuoteWerks with your SQL Server. To do so, you will need to either: a) Create a SQL login id (named "quotewerks" for example) and set the Language to "English" in the user login properties. Please see the screenshot. b) If you already have created a SQL login id to be used with QuoteWerks, then you will just need to set the Language to "English" in the user login properties. User logins are setup under the Security\Logins folder in the Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager. |
