Version 24.0 Build 4
Question:
How do I print the item number?

Solution:
In the print layout designer, choose the InsertSystem field menu and choose the Rec_Count field and place it into the Detail 1 section.

You can see the item number on the screen by:

Selecting a line item, and looking at the right side of the status bar at the bottom of the screen which for example would display "Ln 4/32" meaning line 4 of 32 lines is selected.
