Before you can configure FedEx real-time shipping in QuoteWerks you must have a developer portal account and request API information. This information will be used during the Shipping Rates Real Time Setup.

To obtain your API Key and Secret Keys, please follow the following instructions.

1. Navigate to https://developer.fedex.com/ and login or create a new account.

2. Click the My Projects Link.

3. Click Create API Project.

4. Select "Ships with FedEx and needs to integrate FedEx APIs into their system."

5. Select "Ship, Rate, and other APIs."

6. Select "Rates and Transit Times API."

7. Give the project a name.

8. Confirm details and accept the terms.

9. Navigate to the Production Key tab, name your key, and add a shipping account. Click Next.

10. Note your API Key and Secret Keys as these will need to be input into QuoteWerks to enable your real-time FedEx integration.

11. Input the API Key and Secret Keys into QuoteWerks following the instructions in the Shipping Rates Real Time Setup help file.
