There may be instances in which you have to create a new Contact that shares a lot of the same information with an existing one. For example, a new Contact is onboarded at a Company you work with. They are at the same location, share the same phone number, and a majority of the Contact record information will be the same. Instead of creating a new contact and re-inputting all of that information manually you can clone an existing contact and make any necessary adjustments from there.

1. Navigate to the Edit Company window (Figure 1 below), select the Contact you wish to clone, and hit the Clone button ( ).

2. This will open the Clone Contact window (Figure 2 below), which will contain all the information from the cloned contact except the Contact field will be blank. Input the new Contact’s name, review and adjust the Contact information as needed, and hit OK to save the new Contact record.
