If you have QuoteWerks Edition One-time license(s) and stay current on your maintenance, the price is 20%* per year of the list price of the licenses, and you receive all of the updates and upgrades while your maintenance is current. At Aspire, we approach version updates and upgrades differently than most software companies. We release four to six major updates and one version upgrade during the course of the year, resulting in about 130 new features. This approach results in our customers receiving more features sooner
UMP for QuoteWerks Edition Subscriptions
If you are paying for a monthly or annual subscription of your QuoteWerks Edition licenses, then you are always current on maintenance and entitled to the available updates at no additional charge.
UMP For QuoteWerks Edition One-time Purchases
If you have purchased one-time up-front QuoteWerks Edition license(s), then you will need to pay a monthly, or annual UMP maintenance to be eligible to receive available updates. Customers that have purchased the Upgrade Maintenance Program (UMP) will receive the current release of QuoteWerks, and all updates and upgrades released during the 12-month UMP period. The UMP is only offered in 12-month periods. Customers are not required to purchase the UMP. However, if customers wish to receive updates that are released, they would need to purchase the UMP at that time.
UMP does not include Phone Support.

There are 4 UMP price categories. The pricing for the UMP varies based on several factors including how many licenses you currently own and how long your UMP has been expired.
Category A - Expired less than 30 days
If the customer purchases the UMP during the first 3 months from original purchase, the price will be 20%* of the list price of the current number of QuoteWerks edition licenses plus 20%* of the list price of the current number of QuoteWerks Real-Time module licenses.
The customer will receive the current QuoteWerks update and 12 months of updates starting on the purchase date of the UMP.
Category B - Expired 31 days to 12 months
If the customer purchases the UMP during this time frame, the price will be 35% of the list price of the current number of QuoteWerks edition licenses plus 35% of the list price of the current number of QuoteWerks Real-Time module licenses.
The customer will receive the current QuoteWerks update and 12 months of updates starting on the purchase date of the UMP.
Category C - Expired 12 months to 24 months
If the customer purchases the UMP during this time frame, the price will be 50% of the list price of the current number of QuoteWerks edition licenses plus 50% of the list price of the current number of QuoteWerks Real-Time module licenses.
The customer will receive the current QuoteWerks update and 12 months of updates starting on the purchase date of the UMP.
Category D - Expired greater than 24 months
If the customer purchases the UMP during this time frame, the price will be 65% of the list price of the current number of QuoteWerks edition licenses plus 65% of the list price of the current number of QuoteWerks Real-Time module licenses.
The customer will receive the current QuoteWerks update and 12 months of updates starting on the purchase date of the UMP.
Update and Upgrade fulfillment
Updates and upgrades are made available for download from our website. Includes the updated software only. No additional phone support or physical update material is included.Let's think it through - Is the QuoteWerks Update Maintenance Program a good deal?
Users sometimes object to paying for updates. The reason for this objection is usually based on the user's experience with other software products releasing updates that have very few new useful features with a big sticker price slapped on them. QuoteWerks updates shatter the traditional definition of what an update contains and how much it costs.
We created our Update Maintenance Program programs not to squeeze money out of our customers in return for nothing, but rather for us to receive funds for the new major features that we are adding to the product almost every month. Other companies simply don't offer all the new features so rapidly, and make their users wait for one or two years until the next version is released.We implemented the Update Maintenance Program route so that we can offer these new features to our customers as quickly as possible. In fact, each year we release an average of 130 new features released as build updates over the course of the year.
As part of our updates philosophy, we strongly disagree with forcing customers to pay annual maintenance on a software product when they may not need or want the new features. So, with the QuoteWerks Update Maintenance Program, you only purchase the Update Maintenance Program when you feel the new features included in the update is worth paying for. Customers that do always want to have access to all our updates and upgrades every month, will be able to receive them for a low price of 20%* per 12 month period.

There is a 30-day money back guarantee from the date of purchase on QuoteWerks licenses that have not been registered. Licenses only need to be registered by the 30th day of use, so the customer has up to 30 days to determine if they would like to return the license(s). Edition Upgrades, Maintenance, Etilize subscriptions, and QuoteValet annual subscriptions are non-refundable (unless all purchased together in the initial purchase, within 30 days of original purchase, and licenses are not registered).
