For the last 20 years, QuoteWerks has mostly relied upon the DocumentHeaders.SoldToCMAccountNo field to store the linked CRM contactID value in. Over the years as we have supported newer and different CRMs, it required that we also stored a SoldToCMCompanyRecID value which contained the record id of the CRM Company/Account. This SoldToCMCompanyRecID value has been stored in xml in the DocumentHeaders.DynamicStorageDH field. Additionally for salesforce.com and GoldMine the data stored in these fields is actually reversed. Changes have been made in this build. The DocumentHeaders.SoldToCMAccountNo field has been renamed to DocumentHeaders.SoldToCMContactRecID. There is now a DocumentHeaders.SoldToCMCompanyRecID field. There is now a DocumentHeaders.SoldToCMSecondaryContactRecID field. These same changes were applied to the "ShipTo" and "BillTo" counterpart fields. The "reversed" data for GoldMine and Salesforce.com has been corrected.

You can attach files to the HubSpot CRM Deal from the PDF Preview window, the Links tab, and the Print window. There is a button on the SoldTo/ShipTo tab to display the SoldToContact, ShipToContact, or BillToContact in HubSpot CRM, and also a link on the Links tab that you can click to view the HubSpot CRM Deal in HubSpot CRM. Additionally, emails sent from QuoteWerks are logged in HubSpot CRM history. QuoteWerks integrates with all editions of HubSpot CRM, however, if you want to integrate with the HubSpot Deal Line Items, then HubSpot Professional edition or higher is required. The DataLink is bi-directional so after the Opportunity is created/updated in ConnectWise Manage you can setup a DataLink mapping to copy information from the ConnectWise Manage opportunity back into the QuoteWerks quote for fields at the opportunity level. This functionality also is available when creating a new QuoteWerks quote from a ConnectWise Opportunity via the QuoteWerks Opportunity Dashboard or via the Quote button on the ConnectWise Manage Opportunity. CRMProductID Auto-Generation feature. In the simplest scenario you can setup the link to just use a QuoteWerks part number like the Manufacturer field as the CRM Opportunity CRMProductID. As a starting point the value from a specified field like the QuoteWerks ManufacturerPartNumber field is used. The auto-generation feature will allow for more than this when the InternalPartNumber or any CustomTextxx field is selected as the mapped field. This new auto-generation feature will allow for many scenarios of use, including the ability to maintain your own proprietary part numbers in CRM Opportunity. If the CRM integration supports using CRM Products as a product data source link, you can even use the Etilize functionality in combination with your own proprietary parts in CRM Opportunity. There are 3 auto-generation options. With "Do not auto-generate", when exporting items to CRM Opportunity, if the mapped field is empty, this will stop and force you to specify your proprietary part number. If you pulled the part from CRM Opportunity, it will already have your proprietary part number from CRM Opportunity. This is useful when you have custom part numbers that are not based on any field or combination of fields. With "Do not auto-generate", when exporting items to CRM Opportunity, if the mapped field is empty, then you will be forced to manually specify an CRMProductID before proceeding. This is used when using your own proprietary part numbers. With "Auto-generate using macro:", when exporting items to CRM Opportunity, instead of just using a simple field value like the ManufacturerPartNumber to become the CRM Opportunity CRMProductID, you can choose to have the CRM Opportunity CRMProductID auto-generated using a macro like &DI_ItemType:&DI_ManufacturerPartNumber. With "Auto-generate using macro based on ItemType:", when exporting items to CRM Opportunity, instead of just using a simple field value like the ManufacturerPartNumber to become the CRM Opportunity CRMProductID, you can choose to have the CRM Opportunity CRMProductID auto-generated based on the ItemType of the Item. So, for example if the ItemType is "Haas", then you can map to an auto-generation macro of "Haas:&DI_ManufacturerPartNumber, but if the ItemType is "Hardware" then you can map to an auto-generation macro of just "&DI_ManufacturerPartNumber". You can also set a value for "If any ItemTypes are not mapped use the following macro:".

For ConnectWise users, there is now a ConnectWise Integration Mode of "Primary CRM" and "Not Primary CRM". This lets ConnectWise users use QuoteWerks with a CRM like MS CRM to do all their prospecting and quoting. Then, when the quote becomes an order, at that time, using QuoteWerks, they can create the customer in ConnectWise and have QuoteWerks create the sales opportunity, products, and service tickets, etc in ConnectWise. Since QuoteWerks integrates with all 12 of the leading CRM packages, you could use any of these CRMs with QuoteWerks and then once the quote becomes an order, this functionality would allow you to export to ConnectWise. To use ConnectWise in this mode, you will need to choose ConnectWise on the Contacts->Setup Contact Manager menu, and go into the ConnectWise setup and on the Settings tab, choose the "Not Primary CRM" mode. While in the ConnectWise setup screen, make all the setup changes and click on [Ok]. After doing this, back on the Contacts->Setup Contact Manager window you will need to re-select the CRM that you want to use as the Primary CRM and click on [OK]. Once this setup is complete, a Tools->Export To ConnectWise menu will appear and that menu is used to perform the export.

When sending emails you can now control where/how the email is logged in your CRM. Attach File to CRM feature. With this feature you can automatically and manually attach files to your CRM. When emailing a quote to your customer as a PDF file, the PDF file will automatically be attached. When uploading a quote to QuoteValet and Emailing the customer the notification, the PDF file of the quote will automatically be attached. You can manually attach a file to your CRM by right clicking on a file in the Links tab, on the Print Preview window, and also from the Print window Save as PDF option. This makes the PDF version of the quote viewable by any colleagues that have access to the CRM record without having to have QuoteWerks installed. Particularly useful for the service or technical side of the business having access to the details of the job that was quoted. This new feature is turned on by default and can be controlled with the setting "[]Automatically attach PDF sent to customer by E-Mail or QuoteValet to the CRM Account or Opportunity." located on the Print tab of the Tools->Options menu.When using this feature with Autotask, ConnectWise, salesforce.com, you need to attach the quote to an opportunity first. Once the quote is associated with the CRM opportunity, QuoteWerks knows to automatically attach the PDF to the CRM Opportunity. When using this feature with ACT! 2005+, GoldMine, Outlook, Outlook BCM, MS CRM, Maximizer 10+, SugarCRM, and SalesLogix you need to link the quote to a CRM contact first. Once the quote is linked with the CRM contact, QuoteWerks knows to automatically attach the PDF to the CRM contact.
