PAYMENT GATEWAY BASICS
What is a Payment Gateway?
A payment gateway is the service that securely processes online payments. It validates the payment information, communicates with the payment processor, and deposits approved funds into your business account.
Payment gateways allow QuoteValet to securely collect payments directly from the quote experience.
PAYMENT FLEXIBILITY
How Payments Work
When a customer approves a quote, they can complete payment directly through the QuoteValet payment page. The payment is securely processed through your configured payment gateway and deposited into your merchant account according to your processor’s settlement schedule.

Step 2
QuoteValet securely sends the payment information to your configured payment gateway.
Step 3
The payment gateway verifies the payment with the card or bank network and returns an approval or decline for the transaction.
